How to Consign
We accept previously-owned designer only children's clothes by season. We begin accepting spring/summer items on January 1 and fall/winter items on July 1.
Sort items by season before bringing them to us. January through June, we accept spring and summer items, including swimsuits in like-new condition. July through December, we accept fall and winter items, including holiday outfits and winter gear (hats, coats, mittens, snow boots). We will not accept and sell off-season clothes.
We accept items by appointment only due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Please text or call 773.592.9526 to see if we’re accepting new consignment items. Thank You!
Inspect your items carefully before you bring them to us. We accept only designer kids' clothes and shoes up to size 10 in excellent condition. Good rule of Thumb : if you wouldn’t buy it in its current condition, our customers probably won’t want it either.
Example of brands our customers love :
Baby Lulu, Florence Eisman, Gap, Garnett Hill, Hanna Andersson, Hatley, Janie & Jack, Olive Juice, Patagonia, Mini Boden, Tea Collection, Toms, Ugg, Zutano
Bring your items neatly folded in no more than two bags, boxes, or laundry baskets. We do not accept anything on hangers or in trash bags.
We price and wash each item and sort based on style, brand, and condition. You can choose to receive 30% of the item’s price in cash or 30% in store credit after it sells. We reserve the right to reduce the price of an item at any time if it is damaged or out of season. Anything that hasn’t sold in 90 days will be donated to a community organization.
If you have consigned with us please text 773.592.9526 to check on the status. Consigner accounts have been transferred to a cloud based program to which we can send a link.
We honor store credits up to a year from consigned date and check payouts up to 6 months. Clothing that has not been picked up is donated after a year.
We donate items we do not or can not sell to local community organizations, including Cornerstone Community Outreach, Heartland Alliance, World Relief, Cradles to Crayons and the Red Cross (depending on need & current events).
